Money Safety

Milo never moves, transfers, or withdraws money from your accounts. We only read your balances and transactions (via secure connections like Plaid) to help calculate budgets and show you insights. Your funds always remain fully under your control.

Data Collection and Use

Account Data

When you sign up for Milo, we collect:

• Authentication Token: Provided by Google or Apple to securely create and manage your account.
• Financial Account Info (via Plaid): We use Plaid to securely connect to your bank accounts. Milo does not see or store your login credentials. We access:
  • Account balances
  • Transaction history
  • Account type and name

This data helps Milo calculate your budget, track your spending patterns, and display a daily spending allowance tailored to your savings goals.

Device and App Activity Data

We automatically collect limited technical and usage data, such as:

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• IP address
• Actions taken within the app
